Janet Dillard, the local organizer and mother of USA Patriots Amputee Softball player Saul Bosquez, reflects on the significance of hosting the camp. “Hosting the alumni kid’s camp in Adrian was like a dream come true to me,” Dillard shares. “After Saul was injured and had his leg amputated, I was initially uncertain about his future. However, joining this team and experiencing my first kid’s camp changed everything for me. I was inspired by how the campers supported and mentored each other. It motivated me to bring this camp back to Adrian, and the community’s support has been incredible. Their enthusiasm and generous donations have been overwhelming.”
