June events included stops in Long Island, NY and Bismarck, ND. It started with the USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team in Long Island, June 13-16. The team enjoyed an incredible weekend of school and hospital visits, parades, a Long Island Expressway closure, a little softball, and a whole lot of fun put on by our friend Joe Bart. On the softball field, the team finished with a 1-1 record with Josh Wege leading the way offensively and Brent Nadjadi making diving plays at 2nd base! The hospitality and atmosphere was unbelievable.
