Ben, born in 1965 in Lockhart, Texas, joined the US Marines in 1984. Once stationed in Japan, but unfortunately, Ben lost his leg due to diabetes. Since losing his leg, Ben has run 5k’s as well as one 10k. When not playing softball, Ben enjoys running, landscaping, and going to concerts.
