Born in Rochester, Minnesota 1968. Served in the U.S. Air Force, retired Master Sergeant, active duty ’88-’10 and an additional 4 years as a civil servant. I began playing men’s league softball at 15yrs old in ’83 in Orlando, FL. I competed on the All Air Force softball team and All Armed Forces All Stars from ’93-’04. I was blessed to compete with and against some of the best that ever played. And now I get to compete with some of the most inspiring Men, I’ve ever met. I contracted Diabetes after the Gulf War and battled to stay active duty from that moment in ’93 until I retired in ’10. I recently had a battle with cancer and came up with a partial digit amputation. I don’t feel worthy to share the field with these incredible human beings, however, I don’t want to miss out on an opportunity to help to inspire others and hopefully bring/share some softball knowledge and experience to the Team and camp attendees. I am married to wife Dawn for 30 years, and have 2 Sons (Darin, Cody) and 3 grandchildren.
