Introduction

The USA Patriots, formerly known as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, is a 501(c)(3) charity that brings veteran amputees together to promote the power of inclusive sports. Our mission is to inspire communities by supporting children with physical challenges and continuing to serve our nation through athletic events.

Event Background

The USA Patriots team travels nationwide, playing competitive and exhibition softball games against able-bodied teams. These events allow our players, who are veterans and amputees, to showcase their perseverance and athletic ability. At the heart of our mission is our annual Kids Camp, where children with amputations are coached and mentored by our team.

Why Host the USA Patriots?

By hosting the USA Patriots, you’ll be part of an inspiring event that:

Promotes inclusivity and perseverance.
Supports our annual Kids Camp, fully funded for children with amputations.
Showcases the courage and resilience of our veteran athletes.

Event Details

Our team consists of 14-20 veteran players, all of whom require accommodations, transportation, and meals. We recommend hosting a Saturday or Saturday evening game to ensure maximum participation.

Hosting Responsibilities:

Cover airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation.
Arrange for game day needs such as umpiring, field setup, and medical support.
Assist in promoting the event through local media.

Fee Breakdown:

$2,000 Scheduling Fee (due at schedule confirmation)
$5,000 Travel Deposit (due 60 days before the event)
$5,000 Donation (due 30 days post-event, supporting Kids Camp)
