Sergeant First Class (SFC) Andrew Peden was born in 1981 and is from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He enlisted in the Army in 2006 after earning his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University. SSG Peden has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Jordan. On his deployment to Afghanistan, while on a routine patrol, he stepped on an IED causing a below the knee amputation. SFC Peden remains on active duty and continues to serve our country.
