Hello my name is Jace Whitis I’m from Columbus Indiana, and I was part of the 2015 kids camp. It was 2012 I was 5 years old when I had my accident , I jumped off a lawn mower for a toy I had dropped and got caught by the blade. Made a full recovery relearned how to walk again then run. 2 years later I hear of a team that plays softball who are all vets that are amputees. My parents immediately thought it would be great to see this guys play since I was starting to take a liking to baseball. I watched and instantly feel in love with these guys the cause and the camaraderie fast forward they start a thing called alumni camp in 2017 I ended up going to every single one. That reinforced my love for sports going on to play football in the high-school and a year of baseball. Now I’m a rookie on this team I’ve been around so much it’s a blessing. Let’s win big and a lot this season!
