Justin Feagin (SGT, retired) was born in 1988 in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Merit, TX where he graduated high school and immediately enlisted as an Infantryman to contribute to America’s “War on Terror.” Justin was assigned to the 101st Airborne’s historic 3rd Brigade, the legendary “Rakkasans.” After his first deployment, Justin was promoted to a Squad Leader for his leadership abilities and actions in Iraq for the Delta Companies 2nd Platoon Weapons Squad. Before the Rakkasans deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, Justin’s company sent him to Army Mountain Warfare School. During his deployment in Afghanistan he was attacked while dismounted by a Remote Controlled IED which resulted in the loss of his left leg below the knee. Justin is currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Recreation Management.
