Bio

Sergeant (retired) Saul Monroy was born in 1988 and is from El Paso, TX. He enlisted in the United States Marines Corps in 2006 and had a combat tour to Afghanistan in 2010 serving as a Reconnaissance Communicator. While mounted in a M-ATV, the vehicle was struck by an IED rendering him a left below knee amputee. Sergeant (retired) Saul Monroy has been awarded the Purple Heart, Navy Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, (2) Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, (2) Afghanistan Campaign Medals, Global War on Terror Service Medal, (3) Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, NATO Medal. He currently resides in El Paso, TX where is a small Family business owner.
