Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Zach Briseno exemplifies the true spirit of resilience and service. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Zach sustained life-altering injuries during his second deployment to Iraq in 2007, losing both of his legs in an IED explosion. Refusing to let adversity define him, he committed himself to recovery, rehabilitation, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Zach proudly represents the USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team, where he inspires communities across the country through his athleticism and leadership. Off the field, he continues to serve his community as a police officer. One of only three double amputee officers in the nation. His dedication to law enforcement is a testament to his belief that no challenge is too great to overcome.
